Delete your CrewChiefSteve account
This page explains how to delete your account in the CrewChiefSteve app for iOS and Android, made by CrewChiefSteve Technologies, Inc. The same account is used for the CrewChiefSteve Portal and CCST Data, so deleting it removes your data from all of them.
Delete It in the App
- Open the CrewChiefSteve app and sign in.
- Go to More.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your sign-in account is deleted immediately. Your data is then permanently deleted, normally within minutes.
Or Request It by Email
If you no longer have the app, email steve@crewchiefsteve.ai from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. Sending it from that address is how we confirm the account is yours. We handle requests within 30 days.
What Is Deleted
- Your sign-in account: name, email address, profile photo, and account ID
- Vehicles, specifications, and setups
- Events, race schedules, and planned and completed sessions
- Session telemetry and laps
- Tire pressure, tire temperature, and brake logs, and notes
- Uploaded files and photos, including schedule photos and PDFs and knowledge-base documents
- Session videos
What Is Kept
- Shared track map data you uploaded, so other users can keep using it. It is no longer linked to you.
- A minimal record, with no personal information, that shows the deletion happened.
Copies in our service providers' routine backups expire on those providers' own schedules.
Deletion Is Permanent
Deleting your account cannot be undone. Your records and videos cannot be recovered afterward. If you want to use the service again, you can create a new account, but it will start empty.
